“Quality and accessibility of medical and social care services at home in the Republic of Moldova 2019-2022”

On November 28, 2019, within the project “Quality and accessibility of medical and social care services at home in the Republic of Moldova 2019-2022”, the Medical-Social Center “Sfânta Anna” opened its doors in Vulcănești, one of the 10 medical and social centers opened with the financial support of the Czech Republic, through the “Czech Development Cooperation” Program managed by the Homecare Public Association in partnership with Caritas Czech Republic and the Pro-Development Public Association.

Irina Vlah, the Mayor of Gagauzia, was present at the opening of the event; S.E. Zdeněk Krejčí, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova; Viorica Dumbrăveanu, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection; Vacav Balek, Head of the External Development Cooperation Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic; Katerina Šilhánková, representative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Moldova, diplomat for development and cooperation; Ana Kremenić, Officer and Financial Coordinator for the Balkans and Moldova / Caritas Czech Republic and other officials.

The “Santa Anna” Medical and Social Center aims to improve the quality of life of people dependent on the care of others, by ensuring access to professional medical and social care services at home and in the Day Center. The center is equipped with all the technical and medical equipment necessary to successfully carry out quality medical and social care activities.
